BencoolenTech ("we", "us", "our") is a Singapore-based AI transformation company that designs, hosts, and maintains multi-agent AI architectures for small and medium enterprises. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you visit bencoolentech.sg (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us.

We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

We collect only the personal data we need to respond to you and operate the Site:

Information you provide — when you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and the content of your message.

Automatically collected information — like most websites, we and our service providers may collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, to keep the Site secure and understand how it is used.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not include sensitive information in your messages to us.

We use your personal data to: respond to your enquiries and provide information about our services; assess whether our offerings are a fit for your business; communicate with you about onboarding, early access, and service updates; maintain the security and performance of the Site; and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Where required, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract, or our legitimate business interests as the basis for processing.

The Site includes an AI assistant ("the Oracle") that answers questions about BencoolenTech. Messages you send to the assistant are processed to generate a response. Please do not share confidential or sensitive information with the assistant. Conversation content may be processed by our AI service providers solely to operate and improve the feature.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run the Site and our business — such as cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and AI processing providers — under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, court order, or a lawful request from a public authority in Singapore.

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection, consistent with the PDPA’s transfer limitation obligation.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Contact form enquiries are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and measure aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the Site function.

Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, and withdraw your consent to our use of your data. To make a request, please reach us through the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide certain services to you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
